It took about 3 months to get my Western Digital/IO rebates. I've been waiting 2 months now for a $30 Guard Dog rebate. There ought to be a law that advertised prices are what you pay at the register. I too, now, pretty much ignore rebates. The hassle of filling out forms, making copies for proof, envelope stuffing, stamping, and waiting for ages for a check you may never see. As they say, "time is money", and it's almost not worth it anymore.

Hey, and these "instant rebates". Who are they fooling? Just knock down the price and call it a sale price. Maybe Halpin ought to be selling new cars!
