Here's some encouraging news: Media Metrix reported that E-Trade had 1.8 million visitors to its Web site during the month of May, more than Fidelity, Ameritrade and Charles Schwab sites. E-Trade also had more visitors compared to other financial sites, according to a research note by Raymond James & Associates. In the same report, research firms Gomez Advisors and Lafferty Information and Research selected E-Trade as number one in attracting visitors due to the diverse information offerings on its site.
