Selling is definitely a lot tougher than buying. Anyone can step up to the plate and buy, but when deciding when to sell, you're battling the conflicting fear (of losing profits) and greed (of wanting even more profits). >I agree with what Teflon said about setting your exit parameters at the time of purchase and sticking with them.< I agree too. So in the case of October expiry options, there is no need to go out that far unless you plan on holding past July expiry. I planned on holding past earnings, so that's why I bought Oct. expiry.
