Luke, perhaps you are using a different browser. I use Netscape 4.5, and sign on to
webbroker13.waterhouse.com for my URL. Note the file /plain/. That can also appear as /navigator/, /communicator/, or /ie4x/. I also keep Java and Java script disabled.

The back button works fine in my configuration.
