Gersh, curious numbers indeed. The Nikkei225 just went off
a cliff in the afternoon, with futures down 250 points at some point only to recover a bit. Still, at 17,900 in the morning, it closed at 17,500 for a wild ride today. I guess people are nervous here too. Only a few times in the history of time has so much been held on the decision of so few... (peace time I should probably say...)
