Perhaps if CPQ was "smart", they would offer a share of CMGI to every customer that would purchase a CPQ computer. That would help their inventory problem. Just another crazy idea. Doc, you'd be surprised at how often seemingly crazy ideas find their way into corporate strategies and business models. Don't think it's going to happen though - it'd be like giving the rebate downstream equivalent of 2 computers in a few years if you purchased one today... But there's no doubt that this acquisition by CMGI is going to give CPQ a focal point in their restructuring/reorganization - and bring some sorely needed loyalty back into the CPQ fold.. Mark
