Look, it's BusinessWeek. It's very pop -as in popular. Yeah, like People. This writer wrote a great story for the medium. Very different style than most financial writers would have taken, but look at the medium. If the writer was such a boob, you think Buffett would have let him keep tagging along? This is the guy's living, and he writes for about the most pop business mag around next to Money. He did a good job. But it still shows why I never read BW unless I really need to let my mind take a vacation.

From a physician who deals with a lot of elderly people, I'd say he did a great job subtly transmitting the idea that this guy is very, very old, and it's showing in his personality. An oft-endearing and still very frustrating characteristic of old brains is that their most overwhelming traits become even more overwhelming as they start to cease to care what others think at all. If we go by the others' writings on Buffett, he always had this. But if that article is true, it's gone up an order of magnitude.
