We know about Red Hat. I don't know why "Star Office" was chosen for the PC at work. Butt I also know that when he gets tired of it, my husband may rip it out and install something in its place. Yeah! He says LINUX works great. In the old days when he got home from work, I had to listen to a tirade about all the problems that he had with Windows and how he had to waste hours trying to fix it if his favorite tech wasn't around who also had to spend hours getting it to run, at times. I haven't heard any complaints at all about LINUX. I got to name his permanent ID address on the net(I think that is what he called it). Of course, it confuses people when they write to him. They are not sure what to call him. What fun! I didn't name it Mephisto though. Cheers, M.......... PS: I think Sun holds up very well today! So far, anyway.
