From you interview Pat
So, I think what you're seeing in ATI's success is largely legacy based and the biggest problem for ATI is since since their whole
business model is based on price, Intel with the integrated chip sets with things like Whitney, are going to overtake them overnight. It's a real problem for ATI in general of how do you sell price when Intel's going to come in and almost take away that market by definition since you have graphics integrated with Northbridge.

I will not elaborate but let's say that i've just lost the respect for this company i think that the doors at the 3DFX headquarter must be pretty large , because they have VERY BIG HEAD, at least they think they have. And worst they don't seem to be aware of their competitors rood map. Why the fu** did they buy STB to make V3 with fan that takes 3 PCI slot for the OEM market.

I'll just save this part are going to overtake them overnight

I wonder who will be initiating the price war on the high end.
Marc.

Thanks Pat. I recognized some of those penetrating questions even if Scott did pass/defer to others/was very vague on answering many of them. ;)

3dfx is getting better though at talking with us.

Re: Talon - press release did not specifically say 2000 model but it gave 143Mhz clock. Given OEM V3 popularity, Falcon standards and TDFX name on the box, the 3000 makes more sense though an SLI'd 2000 on the motherboard would have been really cool. Am I missing something? Joe C.
