OFF-TOPIC

Let's get our priorities straight. Duke Ellington is THE Duke. John Wayne is the "other" Duke. There is no vice versa. :)

I was reeeeely tempted to sell out yesterday. No Tax consequences, only commission cost. Cheap insurance against the Fed. But, Q is on such a roll I held.

The "whisper" number nonsense is in full swing on Q. It is like reading Tea leaves. 60 consensus, 72 or better would give us a 20 to 40 point boost, IMO.

CSCO finally moving. We were all spoiled by the 48% move in the last quarter of '98. (I know Mike, your's move 49%)

OK, Frank, if you insist! (I love both "Dukes". The one that played poker all the time in "Big Country" with his Cronys was Wayne, of course.

God, what a night dancing at the Derby last night! My three partners totaled about my present age. I will get a picture page up on them on a web site soon, and you guys can eat your hearts out.

Snasraway, if you've ever seen the gif photo of Lindy Bill, you would have concluded that the Duke he's referring to wasn't John Wayne. Rather, you would have concluded that he was talking about the other Duke, of Ellington.

I've seen the photo; impressive, tho' not my style.
As one born and raised in So. Cal., I can tell you that John Wayne's house was in Newport Beach in the 1960s.
