Russell -- not Russell
City College of New York not New York University
Sprowle-- President of the University of California

I was in the aisle of McCosh 50 at Princeton in 1950 when Russell
was giving a speech, and there was a big crowd, and Einstein came up to greet him. The next day the Times had the photo of these two guys meeting -- I heard the exchange:

Russell: "Albert, you need a haircut!"
Einstein: "Und you, Bertrand, und you!"

I thought they were both correct.

Yeah, I found it in The Encyclopedia of Philosophy after you brought it up. I was planning to drop the details on you but you've beat me to it.
