Stephan, i immediately suspected that the massive yen sales by the BOJ were somehow connected to the troubles faced by hedge funds engaged in highly leveraged yen carry trades. the world can not afford this game to blow up, so everything humanly possible is done to give these guys the breathing space they need to unwind some of their positions. just a theory of course, but a plausible theory imo.

Stephan; There is no doubt your theory has merit, I've seen so much
corruption that I'v come to feel we are helpless to do anything
about it.
