Well wasn't that a nice romp...and it seems
to want to continue...

However,
as of now my remaining shares in Magainin
are 'paid for', no matter what the future
holds for Pex or Squalamine, or the Asthma
program--I need not worry, the market has
given me a nice chance to hold shares which
seem like they came free to me. My investment
is a more modest size now than the slew of
shares I had piled into near the recent lows,
but still sizeable (20% of my portfolio).
Some would argue that is still too much, but
I feel pretty comfortable with it. I have no
target for the stock...a long term investment
and it's all in the companies hands...well,
the FDA too, but let's not dwell on that;-)

I hope the recent move has helped mitigate the
longer term suffering of investors in this stock
(that is to say, hope you all caught at least
a part of the move from 1 1/2 to 3 1/2.

I would not neccessarily advocate loading up
on every micro biotech whish is punished by
the markets...sometimes the punishment is
deserved, and I certainly don't have the
expertise to know to where the best science
is. I've a rough idea from time to time what
get's you the best bang for the buck though.

Bang!

MAGN and TGEN, two of the nine microcap biotech
stocks that I own happen to be in the group of
five exhibiting companies listed on the informed
investors website--I'll try and attend, would
like to see the display.

Despite the Pex debacle, Magainin is actually one I've
traded successfully. Almost feel an obligation to be
a good shareholder now and ride it trade free through
Squalamine...and it's not as if I overpaid anyway.

I wonder if Pex might be salvaged yet?
