<What will Datek offer me?>

1) Lower commissions that etrade or schwab.

2) Nicer interface than schwab (not as familiar with etrade's). For example, accessing charts in schwab is now cumbersome and nonintuitive. (Don't know why they would choose to make it more difficult.)

3)Future integration with SI. This will be the real 'killer app' reason to go Datek.

Disclaimer: 70% of my portfolio is in Datek. 25% is in Schwab. 5% is in E-trade.

You know, I used to think the world of Schwab until recently. I'm thinking of switching at least some of my trading power over to another broker with more flexibility in regards to maintenance requirements. I have heard good things from Brown & Co.. The recent post on Datek was concerning the interface. How flexible is Datek with maintenance requirements? Anyone?
