It seems that they don't seem to know the difference between MicroOS and the compression format. Perhaps you should show us the questions that you asked. Did you explain what MicroOS is? Perhaps they are working with LU and EDIG is behind the scene working with LU.

Why don't you just e-mail Wendy? The worst thing she could say is "no comment."

The large unit does not have to have MicroOS...
All it has to do is present the data to the docking port.

The device (player) will receive the data as it would from the internet or any other source and record it or store it in it's own memory using it's own firmware (MicroOS or whatever).

That's the way I see it... Maybe I'm wrong...
