If CMGI's aim is to turn Alta Vista into a "megaportal", what then is Lycos, or is Lycos slated for disposal?

I still use google for almost all my searches because it is the only one that is not trying to sell me something [ yet ;-) ].

For those that subscribe to TheStreet.com, Cramer just posted an article speculating on a .50% hike. A quote form the article: "That was a cannonball, a Chicago Purchasing Managers' Index cannonball that takes your breath and your head away, considering that today is Fed day. Suddenly, my partner, Jeff Berkowitz, turns to me and says, "Only 50 basis points will work now." "

Don't know if he is referring to a one-shot .50% hike, or two .25% shots over time.
