Sales decline again for chip-making tools

Worldwide sales of equipment used to make semiconductors fell
almost 19 percent in April from the same month a year earlier, the
12th straight month of decline, as U.S. and Japanese chip makers
scaled back capital spending, industry figures showed. Equipment
sales slipped to $1.76 billion in the month, the Semiconductor
Equipment Association of Japan said.

Xy, yesterday there was news that companies that do business in the Asian market will see improved results in the second half of this year due to the Asian economic recovery. There is also a mention of AMAT along these same lines in the Marketwatch article in the business section of today's USA Today.

AMAT...AMAZING. New highs today. Hey, Tito, are you using the whip on those construction workers or what?? <gg> Jeff
