The weird thing is, I get this sense that a .25 takes us down, but .50 takes us up... Or is that too simplistic?

Greenspan has raised rates 22 times as Fed Chairman. 18x@25 basis points, 3x@50 bp and 1@75 bp. If history holds true were looking at 25 and neutral stance going forward with economy subject to periodic Fed review.
