09:07 ET MCI WorldCom (WCOM) 93 5/8: Telecommunications company's shares indicated 2 pts lower this morning on pricing pressure concerns in the long distance telecom industry. In earnings warning yesterday, Frontier Corp (FRO) blamed accelerated pricing erosion in the switched long distance business for its expected shortfall.

Teflon,OT I used the WCOM drop to buy some options on it (and stock) for the first time ever.
Don't know too much about the company but betting sell off is overdone.
I think your reason is right--DOJ gang.
