stephen, this is great news as it opens the gate for a whole new group of internet users. i know of several people at work just waiting on this. in my opinion this not only means more people online with AOL locked in for 3 years, but also opens the gate for more increased spending online by these new member which means more revenue for AOL in terms of deals they have signed with various retailors. IMHP it will draw big with people on limited incomes who mabye to this point haven't been able to justify the investment, now they have the opportunity, plus just in time to get comfortable enough for the upcoming xmas season.
