LCAV was on the watch list for june 23. OSI on the same list is on a very strong uptrend.. and SWFT up strongly as well. EXDS was on 24th list before the rise as was ZOMX, JWEB, EXTR,BRCM and FLAS. CMNT was on yesterday's list and MAIL was on the 28th.. all of them were called buy triggers.. We don't just leave them on long lists and forget them. We con't call sell signals unless it is very apparent that the stock is really losing momentum (i.e. CUST).. So I end up with about 30-40 stocks to watch every week, which is a lot simpler than the 100-200 or more followed by traders.. Almost all move up within 24-48 hours and some 72 hours.. I don't watch them much longer than end of the week (holding Monday-Friday on database with updated alerts) then drop then the next week. and put them into another less 'important' database for casual scanning.

Another one I called was YNR, had also very good days after appearing and earned a profile in today's IBD: YNR rose 2 1/2 to 47 3/4 emerging room a 15 week trading range on average volume. Earnings are forecast to grow 19% to $1.36 a share this year and 21% to $1.75 in 2000

Watch List for June 23, 1999

We'll be watching June 22nd list tomorrow in case the nets
rebound, but otherwise we have this one and some more earnings plays.

New 52 week high, overbought but on a strong uptrend. Earnings our 7/21, this one should be watched as its starting
to act like a net stock. APLX is estimated to have a 150.00 % growth in EPS this quarter and a growth of 300.00%
quarter so even if its doesn't continue its uptrend tomorrow, mark this one down for an earnings play.

Watch List for June 28, 1999

Expect a volatile market on Monday/Wednesday. If
for any reason the tech sector is down with the nets
then I am bullish on some stocks, especially
AA, TIE,DCX, and CLX.

If you are an experienced trader
and are looking for a daytrade, I'd still watch CUST, PHCM,
WEBB and RAZF. They move in fast market with large intraday
ranges making them ideal trading stocks.

10 day Moving average breakout and MACD breakout for BVSN.
My favorite in the net sector, and everything
about it at this point points at a strong uptrend.

2> SPLN - SPORTSLINE USA INC .INT
Price= 34.0 ( 86) VL/30= 41.0 ( 48) %Rnge= 85.0 ( 75)

1-Dy = 105.2 ( 93) 50MA = 93.4 ( 24) 10MA = 100.4 ( 63)

Resistance at 37. Oversold with a 10 day moving average and
stochastic breakout on Friday.

3> NDB - NATIONAL DISC BROKERS GROUP COM ST .SEC
Price= 35.5 ( 87) VL/30= 49.5 ( 53) %Rnge= 79.0 ( 72)

1-Dy = 100.7 ( 75) 50MA = 75.4 ( 5) 10MA = 96.8 ( 20)
Earnings anticipation should move this one as well.
Trend is down but 38 is resistance and the stock is oversold with a
stochastics of 3.4!!. AMTD is also
an earnings play (reports the 14th of July).. I'd watch them both. AMTD
however
had a double bottom breakout on Friday, and is very expensive NDB should
be a good
alternative.

4> MXIM - MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODS INC .ESE
Price= 62.6 ( 94) VL/30= 75.7 ( 67) %Rnge= 73.0 ( 69)
Sto9V= 71.9 ( 75) W14dV= 57.3 ( 76) %Hi4 = 96.6 ( 58)
1-Dy = 102.8 ( 88) 50MA = 108.3 ( 82) 10MA = 101.5 ( 73)
Nice chart, with short term weakness but long term strength. Beginning
uptrend and stochastics not overbought. 10 day moving average breakout and
MACD breakout.

5> BKB - BANKBOSTON CORP .BAN
Price= 50.0 ( 92) VL/30= 109.8 ( 79) %Rnge= 100.0 ( 99)
Sto9V= 71.8 ( 75) W14dV= 57.6 ( 77) %Hi4 = 99.5 ( 84)
1-Dy = 104.5 ( 92) 50MA = 102.6 ( 67) 10MA = 103.3 ( 83)
Chart is mixed but BKB did open above resistance of 47 3/4 and held
even gaing over 2 points. This stocks' s movement is dependent on
a positive market climate and the fact that the rate hike is already built
into the stock and a 'relief rally' might continue in the sector.

6> NKE - NIKE INC CL B .LSP
Price= 62.4 ( 94) VL/30= 105.6 ( 78) %Rnge= 100.0 ( 99)
Sto9V= 92.8 ( 93) W14dV= 57.8 ( 78) %Hi4 = 100.0 ( 99)
1-Dy = 103.4 ( 89) 50MA = 102.6 ( 67) 10MA = 106.5 ( 90)

Earnings related. Stock should move more in anticipation of its report.

7> CREE - CREE RESH INC .ELE
Price= 66.8 ( 95) VL/30= 52.1 ( 55) %Rnge= 47.0 ( 50)
Sto9V= 58.7 ( 62) W14dV= 58.3 ( 79) %Hi4 = 92.0 ( 36)
1-Dy = 101.5 ( 81) 50MA = 124.6 ( 95) 10MA = 99.5 ( 45)
One of my favorites and its oversold. This is the world leader Cree
Research, Inc.
is the world leader in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of
electronic devices made from silicon carbide (SiC). It's been an
intermediate trade at least 6 times in the last 18 months, and a short term trade well over a dozen times.

8> MAIL - MAIL COM INC CL A .DSE
Price= 12.1 ( 57) VL/30= N/A ( ) %Rnge= 42.0 ( 47)

1-Dy = 96.0 ( 7) 50MA = N/A ( ) 10MA = N/A ( )
MESG has moved strongly in June. Had a good earnings report MAIL has moved as well. Looking for more here, as MESG is more overbought than MAIL.

9> BNBN - BARNESANDNOBLE COM INC CL A .RME
Price= 18.9 ( 70) VL/30= N/A ( ) %Rnge= 100.0 ( 99)
