I don't think Cramer was "predicting" a .50% increase. I believe he was just "speculating" on it. Cramer is difficult to read - he often says things that make you think he is taking a side on an issue, but when you analyze his words, you realize that he is being extremely vague. In the article I reference, he quotes his business partner Jeff Bekowitz as saying "Only 50 basis points will work now." It's hard to determine if: 1. Cramer advocates that view. 2. The statement was made to indicate a single .50% hike or two .25% hikes. I read Cramer's column regularly - he always writes like this, being very vague in his words. He'll rarely take a strong stance on important issues, as doing so may come back to haunt him should he be wrong. I would be inclined to interpret his words in this case as meaning that "there is a possible chance that we might see a .50% hike today or a total of .50% in hikes over the next few months." -Eric Wells

It's going to happen. I've just backed up the truck and bought more puts. Whatever for!? I am placing GTC orders to buy Yhoo puts; 4 Jul$180 @2 1/8 and 6 Jul$190 @1 3/8. Those will be filled if Yhoo runs above $220 before 7/7.
