Transocean Offshore sees earnings decline in 2000

HOUSTON, June 30 (Reuters) - Transocean Offshore Inc.
<RIG.N> said on Wednesday it expects earnings per share to slip
in 2000 from their 1999 level, which in turn was lower than in
1998.
"It will be somewhere around a buck and a half," Transocean
President and Chief Operating Officer Dennis Heagney told
reporters at an energy conference in Houston.
