I was talking about Bloomington in Central Illinois. We have had thousands and thousands transfer here from the big cities and they bring their habits with them. Once you leave town and get to the cornfields it's a must to give a farmer wave to every car you meet. <<But screw the speed limit, unless you're in a pedestrian area. Everyone's speedometer is different, maybe yours is low.>> Sometimes I'm a tad under the limit. Saves on gas and brakes. If I pull on in a 55 zone and I know it's a 40 zone in 1/2 mile I go 40. My speedometer is 3 miles fast at 30. If I want to go 60 I hit 66 on the speedometer but 55 is fast enough for me.
