I suspect that Nicholas knows something, and I would hazard to guess that he has a idea that the buying would subside because of the holiday tomorrow. He most likely has heard who the source of the buying is and knows how they operate and at what times they may shut down on days before holidays. And then would have a idea of a opportune time to go short when the stock would be vulnerable.
