tejek, Re: What i was questioning was the supposition that China would permit Taiwan to manufacture the products in Taiwan and then sell the final products to the mainland Chinese. Do you get it now? Why not ? Chinese government has political reason to encourage trading with Taiwan(both selling and buying) if that is why you mean. Of course, they also want people to build plants in China. My initial reading about your question is that China don't want to do that because of political reason, well may be I completely misread you. Gary
