You are correct on the spelling of Sproul -- the bookkeeper who became president of UC. I made a typo --w for u and added an e -- that from the the spelling given by Paul Edwards in his Appendix on the Bertrand Russell Case in a reprint of Bertrand Russell's, Why I am not a Christian, 1957, which is based Kallen and Dewey's The Bertrand Russell Case, Viking Press, 1941. I walked in front of Robert Gordon Sproul Hall on the Berkeley Campus for three years and did not imprint the correct spelling in my head. Thanks for the correct spelling.
