Heinz, it looked like the ones that were being dropped from the Russell were sold at the close. I was tracking a couple of small E&P companies that were dropped out and a couple of others and this looks like what happened. Should be a good pick up tomorrow.

Wasn't it you asking about royalty trusts recently? Most appear to have good yields but you have to be real careful about checking their underlying reserves. If the field is not active, then the trust is essentially a self-amortizing asset with an eventual value of zero. However, one that you should look at is San Juan Trust (SJT) that is a pure gas trust in the San Juan Basin of SW Colorado. It yields about 6 1/2% and they have historically added to the reserve base. Plus, most of the gas is coal seam gas and is eligible for a tax credit so the after tax yield is a fair bit more than 6 1/2%.

Regards, Ken.
