The lame excuses that have been given to some of the shareholders are just that. The gall to tell a client that that was the old way to ask for certificates. These guys have been in business a long time, and know how to play the game.....That's their business, inside and out. They know exactly who CEDE, and if they tell you they don't, I wouldn't believe them for a minute. And to get the run around everyone is getting smell like one giant rat out there. I bet a lot of the brokerages are already aware that there is a major shortage. Come on guys, they have access to more information than we could even begin to have!!!! DUH!!!! And to actually say that they are safe, while reading the itsy bitsy small print.....Who are they trying to kid...I'd apply more pressure to the brokerage houses, take names, numbers, and threaten to call the SEC....We got a lot of brokers out there real nervous at this point in time I would think!!!! And I bet most know exactly what's going on. Especially if they have been in contact with any of the MM's that have shorted, or have let their clients short the stock...Hmmmmm.....Gotta keep on them guys..

An informed SI lurker asked me to post this in response to an excellent post by Dave D-Biker.

"Guys-pay special attention to Post #1639 Message 10332971
by Dave D'Biker. This situation with the shorts is all starting to make sense. If the DTC decides to loan or rent our cents out to the shorts then a tremendous imbalance could easily be created. Let's all get together on the same wavelength, call in all of our MG and MM certs and show these people who they're messing with.

What really ticks me off about the MG certs is that our Rule 144 time clock of 12 months does not start ticking till our name appears on the cert. These guys are messing with our future liquidity-thats not right."

I agree with the lurker-especially in regards to the Medinah Gold shares. If you are one of the many who are sitting there quietly content that your Medinah Gold shares are in your brokerage account-think again! You will not be able to trade them until you register them-not now-not ever! Please register them! The DTC will be providing Medinah a final list shortly of all the rightful owners of Medinah Gold. The time to really apply the heat on your broker is just about here. Cheers.
