The Chinese internet explostion will happen sooner than expected. Rather than depending on computer saturation for access, most access in China will be through TV. Gates already went over there to push for MSFT involvement (set-top boxes, operating systems) in this development. The American model based on computer access followed technological imperatives of the time. Now that the technology has developed, alternate access routes can and will be taken. Look for big news and developments for the Chinese internet industry as a whole.
