Tambo Grande is a large town of 10,000 people, 1/2 of whom would need to be relocated and the other half would need to be paid-off to accept continual blasting and equipment noise from a large open-pit. This would cost tens of millions of dollars that would need to be added to the up-front production cost.

This is the reason the deposit has not been mined with copper prices at $1.40/pound and gold at $370/ounce. And now with copper prices at 50% and gold at 70% of these previous levels there is even less chance the project could be shown to be economic!!

<<How've you been, all you old S-10-ers? I'm glad I held onto my Manhattan all this time. >>

Hello Jim... nice talking to you again. I hope you are now having some profits with MAN.

I've been very busy...writing about my favorite mining companies ..and other things. Can't wait for the day when the bull market in metals will be a few yeasr old... But we are not there yet..

JIm,

Nice to see you here .... S10 seems like so long ago. I agree with you .... these are 2 shorts that likely read a chart assumed the worst - and decided to short.

There is one sure thing that gives a desperate short away - it is better for them to keep their mouths shut and let the stock run .... then short the hell out of it ... but these two are underwater and getting more desperate each day.

Altruism .. BS .... I do agree with CC though, their comments sharpen your wits ... but that's the only good thing I can say at the moment.
