Howdy All, thanks for the nice mentions and the welcomes, yeah we enjoyed Sea World and Ohio as always, our kickoff mini Wally World first summer vacation. IMHO it's a better relax than any Park I know; got alot to do, the food's good, they run sprinklers to cool the folks off, they hire enough kids so no one looks overworked (it's hard for me to relax when it looks like kids are hustling too much to serve me an ice cream cone). Best of all, it's more pleasant because the lawns and trees aren't made inaccessible by a museum rope so there's plenty of comfortable shady places to sit feeding ducks and their cute babies when Shamu's resting and the dolphins aren't hungry. Only drawback was the two 9 hour drives on the Interstate in 4 days, smooth driving but all day yesterday scanned the radio channels for stock market news and there was absolutely nothing but bad rock and G-rated country music (you know the kind I mean, where even Johnny Cash is too wild for 'em)so with the kids sleeping in the back I was Bored Out Of My Gourd. Couldn't reminisce or activate my thinking mind for fear of getting caught up in some daydream to the detriment of my driving alertness. My arm aches from the air conditioning blowing on it, had to take care of it with Tiger Balm. The long-distance truckers deserve respect, doing such drives every day. Been on the mend from it all morning, ok now. Had A Great Time and it's nice to be back, too. We just went to pick up the cat and she was happy to see us while still enjoying playing with her friends there til we left, doubleplusgood we got a place she likes to stay when we go away. Looks like it was a good time on Techride too, what a great read-back of posts! What A Great Group Of Folks! Yer pal, Joanie
