I am not hot under the collar, please don't misunderstand me. I detest graffiti. I detest gangs. We do have gangs here in Fairfax. My former secretary's son was friends with a kid who was murdered for dissing a gang member. I represented a kid who killed himself after he got in trouble with a gang. Yes, they are sinks on society. But if anyone deserves recognition and honor and adulation, it's kids who work hard. You shouldn't get recognition, honor and adulation without working for it. It turns the natural order upside down. And I believe that seeing your colors fly into outer space is a spectacular honor which should be given to those who have worked hard for honor.
