Neocon,
Gov. Bush said "It has been a very difficult weekend in our home" and expressed his deep love for his wife and apologized for the
"whatever" Magnamimous of him :-) Lisa

I think she declared $500 --- i.e. a false declaration, or lying to a federal official. Sounds almost Clintonesque to me.

I admit that it may have been unintentional, although the possibility of
dopiness one way (forgetting to declare) raises the possibility of
dopiness another way (forgetting to hide or destroy the receipts

I thought she did declare, but the wrong amount. If one or both of the Bush boys get to the Presidency, perhaps we can have a special prosecutor spend years and tens of millions of dollars examining this and everything else in the family's life? If the Republicans were smart, after spending years ranting about the Clinton's (real) character problems, they'd be very careful about who they nominate. But they aren't smart and they're gonna nominate someone who can't answer the "cocaine question" clearly.
