At the bottom of this page you will see an email link to the web mistress. When someone gets offensive, people email the offensive post to the web mistress. If she agrees the offender will be spanked.
Sentence can range from a reprimand, to a 1 -2 week suspension all
the way to permanent banishment for real knuckleheads.

No, what I meant was that it wasn't me who complained to SI. I think in the Terms Of Use (TOU) it tells you what to do if you feel someone is overstepping the mark.

Shorters do serve a purpose but when they ganged up on you and started using inappropriate language someone on this thread or even a lurker decided they had overstepped the mark.

I view short baiting as a legitimate non blood sport, especially when they issue forth horse manure every time they open their mouths.......the key is to be as polite and reasonable as possible whilst extracting the urine......they don't seem to be handle people turning the other cheek.

Of course, ignoring them totally is always an option. But you must understand for every one of us attention seekers or information imparters there are probably 10-100 lurkers who can be frightened into selling by the shorts, especially if there is an absence of reasoned counter argument from the longs.

Ron's approach is the best, especially as he is more knowledgeable than most about the company.
