Yeah, he essentially said that due to Y2K dragging down all companies except Apple, no further boosts are necessary. Or did I mishear him? Apparently G-Love mumbles a bit.

Jim, my only comment about the Yahoo Store is that it is an example of Apple continuing to make smart moves. Yahoo Store, like all the Yahoo stuff, is very efficient. My web designer friend who specializes in putting small businesses on the web worries that they'll all just go to Yahoo Store instead. Very hassle-free, as far as I know.

Another nice day today and now the focus can turn to earnings. Anecdotal reports (and mysterious iMac shortages) are very promising. Tech spending in education is going up and the iMac is a very strong solution. It's not sexy, but selling iMacs to schools is a wonderful business. Apple will dish up the steak at the earnings report and save the sizzle for the next week in NYC.

Marc
