I noticed ATHM was up around $2 most of the morning and early P.M. I thought it was great that ATHM was bucking the trend and not going lower. At the time (early P.M.), the high for the day was around $54. I missed the action later in the day, as I went on a super long bike ride. At the close, I saw ATHM had been as high as $56 plus. Was there a slight sell-off late in the session? Did other tech/Internet stocks follow the same pattern? I am just curious.

Thanks,
Ed

Here in the Metro St. Louis Area, in Illinios, TCI told me in Feb. that Internet service would be available end of May. End of May they told me sometime end of June or July. Well, now they simply say sometime next year. VERY disapointing! At this rate DSL will probably be in the area before then and even though I'm invested in ATHM I'll take my broadband from the first one to offer it.

Still VERY long on ATHM though. I don't think its a case of them having to worry about getting subs as much as it is about them being able to handle all the people that WANT the service. ATHM will slowly eat away at AOL's subscriber base in much the same way AOL ate away at Compuserve's early on. The difference this time though is that people are MUCH more aware of the Internet than they were then so ATHM's business will grow much faster than AOL's did and look at what's happened to AOL's stock in the last 3 to 4 years. I think it reasonable to expect AT LEAST the same kind of movement in ATHM if not more so.

All IMHO os course.
