I'm stupified(sp?), dizzy, giddy and have the feeling that time just stopped, which is hard to come by.

I watched till 1:30 or so when I had to do some errands. Come home to a much improved world. Can someone ( Mr. Twister, you there?)
tell what happened from 2:00 onward!! Is this a dream? Thanks in advance.

I have asked for an entry strategy for some friends. They are still wondering how to get onboard. Thanks for any thoughts on entry for
those who want more.................

Douglas and KJ,

I appreciate both of your responses. The CNet article
was excellent. The operative paragraph for me was:

"But IBM has a hole in its product line between four-processor
Netfinity servers and higher-end Unix servers, such as the RS/6000,
analysts say. Sequent's NUMA (Non-Uniform Memory Access) NT server
technology, which scales up to 256 processors, would fill that niche nicely."

IBM seems to be investing or partnering in SMP NT servers
which utilize NUMA. I have heard good things about Sequent
in this niche market. Most likely IBM is just planning to partner
as opposed to buy. I would rather IBM buy SGI :-)
