Is it possible to graph the SPY to SPX premium? I am interested in graphing SPY - (SPX/10). Is there any way to graph expressions like this? WB

Can anyone explain a cash trade to me? ALA (Alcatel) has two huge trades in the time and sales data today with an indicator of "cash sale"... 15:28:13 - 2,229,300 @ 28 13/16 - cash sale 15:29:08 - 4,915,800 @ 28 7/8 - cash sale My understanding is that a "cash sale" will take place when the purchaser desires the transaction to close the same day. Are there other circumstances where a cash purchase would be considered? Further does anyone know if for the purposes of window dressing the transaction has to close before the first? Thanks, sf
