When we first read the news release we wished we had learnt Latin when we were young. But Sam's geologist guru interpreted for us and he had a gleam in his eye.He says if the 12 metre BirdBear intercept proves out it alone could produce 500B/D of crude. The reference to the other well ,although perhaps 20 miles away, illustrates that they are on the trend line of that discovery well and bodes well for the lower zones. We understand they will drill down to depth of the Winnipeg zone, then do their logging , testing and hopefully casing.
Can't count your chickens until the well is connected for collection of the oil but so far this could be a much larger find than anticipated.Even if the rest of the well is a dud[we bit out tongue on that] this one zone would make everything worth while. And it certainly bodes well[no pun intended] for the rest of the acreage to be exploited.
Right now we feel perhaps our target price for the stock is grossly under estimated. But only after the well is completed will we be comfortable.Lets see how the rest of the drilling goes. They are obviously going at good speed and must have excellent expert crew at work.Their geologist seems to be right on anticipated area although we believe this BirdBear is higher [good sign no water problem ] than anticipated.
Stock price should start to reflect the possible worth of this play.
