I agree, he just lost all credibility (what was left). I trade directly with the exchanges, and they were frozen during the 5 minutes after the announcement due to fast market conditions. Executions were horrible, limits were ignored, etc.

KIS - Having had my faced crushed in a similar manner at least once or twice, it is a little
incredible that you would have dumped, reversed and had confirmations on the volume
of contracts you imply in 7 minutes. Small market orders snap back right away but
human beings still get involved in larger transactions -- a 25% 'haircut' in a market like
this might apply on index options if you are lightening fast -- but on a basket of stocks?
