You should be shorting AMD as well, since this will have a much bigger impact on them than on Intel...Also, something tells me that a Slot A chipset will suddenly not become a "top" priority at Via anymore.

Does VIA have stock? Maybe sell that short too.

Cyrix getting chips from IBM never worked out well. VIA shouldn't expect getting chips from another manufacture (maybe even IBM?) to work out well.

I wouldn't worry about those future Cyrix chips. All the designers have already left Cyrix and joined Intel in Austin and are working on the generation beyond Willamette.

PS: I wonder if Halla told Via about that?
