Until someone finds a way to deliver electric power, gas or water by satellite, the later three will be the true utils in my book. Fortunately, as I'm sure you know, the UTIL index is all gas and electric, so I use it as my indicator. I too like DUK, but also AEP, TXU and ED. Glad you agree with my defensive position exit theory, consensus builds confidence :-). Regarding your "oil price worries". Why not profit from it? I may try to. I pulled a list of oil patch winners yesterday of 4% plus and took a look at their charts. techstocks.com They almost all had positively bullish candles and stoch on the daily charts. The most promising to me appeared to be HAL(Haliburton) and BHI(Baker Hughes) whose MA lines are crossing. Also COC(Conoco) which has a ~hammer and the lightly traded PCZ(Petro Canada) which has a huge marubozu(like they struck oil<gg>). Update on the car search: LOoking at Audi A4, Acura 3.2TL, BMW328i, VW Jetta, VW Passat, Honda Accord v6, Chevy Malibu, and Chrysler 300m. Anyone with experience with these, comments and suggestions welcome(^_^). Note to Berney of the 11 year old van, my Acura Legend was a 90 and had 133k miles on it. Intended to put about 300k on it but alas.. I too concur with your mom, our other car is an Accord :-). Note to all Dudes Wear your seatbelts! That was the third accident that I've been in where the car was totaled and I walked away with sore muscles and small scratches. Lest you think I'm a terrible driver, I was a passenger in the one where we rolled over three times and was hit by a redlight runner in the other historic one (^_^).
