Good catch re. the Russell. It looks like if you include only U.S. companies, then Checkfree ends today COB as the 990th largest market cap. company, which means it is out of the Russell 2000 (into the 1000) as of tomorrow. (Official list will be out later in July).

I'm sure you noted that the Russell 2000 lost 40% of its intraday high (at 3:30) by the close due to this general phenomenon. I added on the bell...hope we get the dropoff and then some back in the am.

26 minutes after market close and still extensive buying and selling of CKFR in aftermarket. Price still at 27 9/16. Must be portfolio adjustments for Russell 2000?
