Al, can you explain how this effects the stock price? Is it that on the last day of the Q if you are too big in market cap to be in the index, all the funds that own that index have to sell you? If so, then when did CKFR get into the 2000, after the drop from 40 to 25? It would seem at 40, CKFR would have been too big at that time.

I'm under the impression that most of the indexers take this seriously. They really don't want a single share of the companies that are exiting when they walk in tomorrow am? Which would help explain the manic post-close trading in them.

BTW, last print of 5100 at 28 1/4 in CKFR is listed as Form T (NOT a trade reported late from earlier). I'm gonna go home believing it, although I find it unlikely.

The MM GROW--Pacific Growth Equities held the bid at 30 at the close and took alot of stock at that price. Any comments on this?
I dont come across them alot in NASD level II.
