FNCM is a Mortgage Banker and Broker, and is NASDAQ and is EELn is 7X+ the price.

The CEO is the EX-CEO of NORWEST(One of if not the LARGEST in the US)

Okay i own both now!!

I am not really sure if I buy into this whole Online Mortgage thing. I think only sophisticated individuals will use them.....???

<<If EELN want to go to war with these big players, they need to be a banker, not a broker.>>

E-Loan does more than you realize. Have you read the prospectus? Who knows, they could form a BIG alliance with a major off-line player (like Norwest Mortgage -- owned by Wells Fargo). This happened in the online drugstore field recently when Rite Aid took an equity position in drugstore.com. Stay tuned, IMO you'll be surprised at how scaleable and powerful the EELN business model is. The company has a tremendous management team and I have faith in them.

Good Luck Investing.

Best Regards,

Scott

You should read all of their statements like I did. Unfortunately,
I don't have time to spoon feed them all. Sorry, got to go to play
tennis with family.

I used E*Loan to refinance my home in December 98. I researched all three companies, Tricor, Ditech and Countrywide to locate the lowest cost and fees in refinancing. I went with E*Loan because they had the lowest interest rate and underbid larger brokers like Countrywide. The best feature was their website. I watched the movement daily. I requested their application to be sent to me by mail and completed the personal information at home, not on the internet. The process was very fast and went smooth. I now have a 6.75 fixed and paid no points. italiana
