TORONTO STOCK EXCHANGE ("TSE-T") CANADIAN HUNTER EXPLORATION ("HTR-T") MOSAIC GROUP ("MGX-T") GREENSTONE RESOURCES ("GRE-T") HURRICANE HYDROCARBONS ("HHL.A-T") - TSE Index Notice Effective before the open on Friday, July 16, 1999, the shares of Canadian Hunter Exploration (HTR) and Mosaic Group (MGX) will replace Greenstone Resources (GRE) and Hurricane Hydrocarbons (HHL.A) in the TSE 300 Composite, TSE 200 and S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Indices. The shares of Greenstone Resources Inc. and Hurricane Hydrocarbons Ltd. will be removed from TSE and S&P/TSE Indices pursuant to TSE 300 Composite Index Maintenance Policy No. 2. This policy states that if a stock appears in the TSE 300 QMV report at the end of a calendar quarter with a 0.00% relative weight, it will be removed from the Index at the opening of the expiry of the following month's options and futures contracts. Please note the following changes to the TSE 300 Composite, TSE 200 and S&P/TSE Canadian SmallCap Indices before the open on Friday, July 16, 1999:
