Howdy Susan, that's really neat that your son was the one who turned you onto GNET last summer. He must be proud of how well it's done for you and for him. My daughter knows GNET's buying her a car, and she sure was happy last week when I showed her That Freeriding Split of hers - she has 100 shares too and that's A Real Nice Start for these kids, figure what that's probably going to be worth a decade or so from now when they're ready to buy a house or start a business! For sure we could hook the kids up with us as addendums to our number, but way I look at it is a) You're List Boss, we got the precedent down and more than 24 hours went by so that's "acceptance" by any legal definition... b) If Numbers run out and there's a riot, more than 2 numbers would be needed anyway I reckon so it'd have to go to the GNET Longs Hot 150 or the Hot 200 or maybe even the Hot 909 and put a stop to it there I respectfully suggest c) So the Yahoo thread doesn't like the list, buncha boo-hoos. Wunnerwhy not? Discrimination against posters who sold shares before they bought them, hmm perhaps? d) Speaking of discrimination, if someone wants the kids # then IMHO they might want to do something for the kids to make up for such a crushing disappointment as not having their own number would be for 'em, LOL! Maybe send 'em a share or a wav list or a link to live netcasts of their favorite bands or a site that does their homework for 'em, etc - Something Good to trade for their rightful number would be Only Right. If your son's like my daughter, they'd both be hollerin' about being excluded from anything because of their age, dontchathink? But you're The Boss, and in a position of Leverage, if you know what I mean ;o) Whatever you say goes, these are only my respectful suggestions. And yep, leaving 'em off the Hookey Lau Flight List is best. For sure there'd be complaints about kids being on THAT, and rightly so. They wouldn't want to come it wouldn't be their kind of fun anyway. 909s, Joanie
