Canadian Holiday. You do know that the Canadian brokers are open for business? So how are they supposed to be caught short tomorrow any more than any other day, especially since today was month's end - theoretically the time to cover. This supposed manipulation today is likely no more than the logical drop after yesterday's stockpicker-induced buying. Doesn't involve any mysterious agendas or secret societies of shorters, but it's the most reasonable explanation so far. Can't wait to hear how this post makes me an MM puppet short basher, but would prefer any reasonable explanation of the fireworks on the 1st theory.
