>Why should low-income-earning tax-paying
poor kids care about whether Whitey gets to go to the moon? Give them a dream, I
say.<

A worthy thought. But one that won't be addressed by something like painting an external tank. A whole different program would have to be developed - like maybe a launch site tourism/education package. ( A strict analog of the city to country field trip I mentioned earlier.) And that kind of program would benefit a great deal from selecting "economically disadvantaged" kids who passed one of the real-life civics tests you suggested. Kids who might be teetering on the edge of "imagination starvation" because their lives are tough.

That is something I would support with my own dollar contribution.

What dream to give? We alienated city blacks ourselves, by providing no economy. We starved them, til they organized a hierarchy themselves.

What to do; what to do.

Dash's partner is black, and we sat last month trying to figure the problem out.

We, personally, decided that if breweries could be established in core areas, we could get out stuff cheaper.

Sorry. After I make an honest plea, a perhaps real and impassioned plea, I always hear this little devil inside my head there, making fun of me.
